Let's take a big search engine such as Google. . They generate massive
amounts of money from sponsors who purchase links solely for human
to click and buy. There are millions of people submitting their
websites daily and in turn click on links. If search engine software
submissions systems really worked, no humans would need to visit
Google to submit websites,
this would lead to billions of pounds, dollars and euros being lost
and sponsors would not buy links and these search engines would
collapse. So, forget software wizards.
About a decade ago there
was a cyber myth where
you list all your keywords hundreds of times in the same colour
as your background so human beings can't see the words but the search
engines' robots and spiders can - very clever (not), do not do it,
it will cost you dearly.
Gateway
pages is another fad, it used to work but alas no longer. The idea
was that you duplicated your index page many times to increase your
chances of good rankings - it does not work - don't do it!
